Original compositions for music-industry professionals.
I'm JayT (John McCarthy), a professional musician, songwriter and composer with a growing catalog of well over 100 original compositions spanning blues, country, roots, classic rock, alternative and cinematic music.
Following an injury that ended my professional performing career, I now devote my musical experience and creative energy to songwriting and composition.
My years as a performing musician influence every song I write. I create complete compositions, including lyrics, melodies, musical arrangements, dynamics and performance concepts.
I use AI-produced performances to demonstrate my original compositions and communicate how I envision the music.
The recordings provide a musical representation of my work while allowing industry professionals to consider the compositions for their own creative and commercial purposes.
I am a member of SOCAN. My original compositions are independently owned and are not currently subject to exclusive publishing agreements.
Publishing, recording and other commercial arrangements are considered individually, with appropriate agreements protecting songwriting rights and credits.
